Oro Valley peeps! So excited for this: An independent bookstore in Oro valley. Plus they'll have coffee! (And beer and wine for those of you who prefer that. 🙂)

Sad for me... Tall Ameicanos @starbucks used to be $2.55, w tax, an affordable luxury that made grocery shopping a little more pleasant. About six months ago they went up (locally here at least) to about $2.90, w tax. Still tolerable.

The title of this is what drew me in - unsurprising considering my faith background and my former religion beat in journalism. I'd never heard of Christine Simon (@csimonwrites) and now I'm in love. What spectacular writing. Unique concept plotted so well and I laugh out loud every single time I listen. I know if I were reading this instead of listening, I would use up an entire highlighter marking up the creative turns of phrase and the ridiculously funny lines. The characters are so well-drawn and so REAL. Simon puts me in every scene. What a joy of a book. Go get you some, friends and neighbors. Thank you, Ms. Simon, for creating this work.
