Visiting the prisoner — or just writing him

Two days ago, on the ninth day of Christmas, I returned to work. I came in an hour early to take advantage of the quiet before anyone else arrived. It turned out also to be before the building's heat was turned on, I discovered to my chilly surprise. Completely ignoring the fact that I'd really …

Vacuuming up Baby Jesus

@greatergoodcharities and my son, third from the right, in POLAND visiting one of food banks Greater Good is helping to get food to Ukrainian refugees coming into Poland. My grandmother was Polish and I cry seeing this photo knowing what her family did to get out of Poland nearly years ago and be welcomed into the U.S. I am proud of our son's organization (and our son), I am proud of the Polish people, am in awe of a country opening its arms, without reservation, to strangers. If you want to donate to the cause, go to @greatergoodcharities profile. #ukraine #poland
